G.L. Frost Architecture is a small, dedicated firm with ample experience in a variety of project types throughout Maine.  Educational, Commercial, Financial Institutions, Churches, Assisted Living facilities, and Healthcare Insititutions are all part of our past work. Past project experience ranges from $23 million dollar state of the art facilities to single family custom designed homes.  We enjoy the process of bringing an idea through design and finally to the physical realization of a building.  We are true believers that the built environment effects the way people work, learn, interact, worship and perceive the world around them. We feel it is the architect's charge to ensure that all building design is done responsibly to better the community in which any structure is built.   It is with these beliefs in mind  that G. L. Frost Architecture was founded.  We strive to bring client satisfaction and a passion for well delivered and designed architecture together on every project with which we are involved.

We communicate and work well with committees of varying sizes to understand their needs and desires for a successful project; projects that are well coordinated with Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Structural Engineers to ensure delivery in a professional manner. We also work during the construction administration portion of projects to see that goals established in the design phase are carried through final construction.

In today’s digital media world G. L. Frost Architecture strives to keep up with everchanging digital technology.  This enables us to provide the client with the best services possible. We operate using the industry standards, Revit and AutoCAD; allowing us to communicate electronically with other disciplines in an efficient  manner.  State-of-the-art computer modeling, renderings and construction documents give the client an accurate picture of the final product.  Other software used as a part of our working process includes Word, Photoshop, Powerpoint and Excel.  As important as these tools are, we are proficient in and still put pencil to paper to create hand drawn renderings and perspectives for many of our projects to assist clients with fundraising or for community presentations.
